I swear this one was like a big tease of what’s to come. I cannot wait to read book 2 of Lauren and Kai’s story. Their first time together so was intense and hot, I wanted more. He wanted Lauren so bad, but yet he didn’t really know how to be with her. Still lost in his past and still so protective of his heart. From being a pup to becoming the man he is now. I can’t believe all the things Kai had gone through in his life. This book went deep into Kai’s life past and present. I just have to say “WOW” to the opening scene. Each kiss, each intense stare, each breath, was so hot.
Kai and Lauren were on fire together, no matter how much Kai was unsure of his feelings and what he shouldn’t be doing with Lauren. I have been waiting to read about Kai for so long and I’m so glad Author Hettie Ivers finally wrote about one of my favorite Werelock.
